Following in the general vein of this website, the photographs shown below are of doors and windows in Prague. The photos were taken during random walks throught the city, and were photographed by pure chance by the author of this site. Each house, each door and each window all bear mute witness to numerous lives over time but these lives are unknown and irrelevant to the passer by.
The photographer's physical connection with these buildings is fleeting and random and yet the image permanently captures an instant in the building's rich life. And so the years of human interaction are unseen and unkown by the viewer whilst the brief flirtation of the photographer with his inanimate subject is recorded for all posterity.
