These photographs of Bratislava were taken during a visit to the city in Easter 2007 just after my wife and I visited Vienna. Whilst lacking the grandeur of it's imperial neighbour, Bratislava's old town is none the less charming.

The capital city of Slovakia, it has had a rich and not always pleasant past and the castle still sits broodily atop the hill overlooking the city.
